COVID 19 Testing Site Hours
Know Before You Go
Ensure you have orders placed in the system by contacting your Military Health System physician or call the COVID Hotline at (808) 433-8102. To receive a COVID test, you must meet the screening criteria for testing: currently symptomatic; recently traveled; or have been in close contact with a person that has tested positive.
At the site, remember to: wear your mask, keep your window rolled up until instructed to lower it, have your beneficiary ID ready, and place your car in park when stopped an interacting with a staff member.
Effective 3 October 2022, the Fort Shafter Flats COVID Testing site will reduce their hours of operation on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 9 a.m. - Noon.
- Pre-surgical/pre-procedural COVID testing will be done on those days only.
- Pre-Travel testing for official that falls outside of Tuesday or Friday, will be coordinated between the patient and the patient's Primary Care Manager.
- Symptomatic patients requiring testing can receive testing at the Tripler Army Medical Center Emergency Department.
- Patients without a local Primary Care Manager (except Tuesdays and Fridays) will be seen at the Emergency Department.
Hours are subject to change based on state or federal holidays, state-issued emergency orders, or power outages. Please check social media to verify current hours of operation.
The Ft. Shafter Flats COVID-19 Testing Site relocated to BLDG 1535
(outdoor recreation building across the street from the Firestone Auto Repair). Proceed to the Ft. Shafter Flats gate on Signal Road, take your first left then first right (Annex Rd) and follow directional signage for “COVID TESTING”.
Normal Operation hours will continue. If you feel you need a COVID-19 test, please contact your supporting primary care team or call the Hawaii COVID-19 Hotline at 1-808-433-8102.
You can review your results within 24 hours at www.TRICAREOnline.com
under Health Record, Laboratory Results. If your results are positive you will be called by a member of our care team within 1-2 days. It is imperative that if positive you isolate and follow instructions from our care team.
