“Moody-Mom or Anxious about Baby?”

Visit this link to Take the 10 Question Quiz
One of the ways your OB team is able to support your care is through the monitoring of your mood, and one of the tools we use is the Edinburgh Perinatal/Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), which your OB team will ask you to take at different times during the course of your care.  The Edinburgh Perinatal/Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) is a quick 10-item questionnaire standardized on a perinatal population.  It can be found on the last page of your Purple Pregnancy Book and there is a version of the Edinburgh Perinatal/Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) on this page.

Please take a few moments to answer the Edinburgh Perinatal/Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), remembering with each question to only consider how you felt during the past week.  Also, try to answer the questions without reading any additional meaning into the questions.  Talley your Edinburgh Perinatal/Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) then visit the following link for an explanation of your score.
