Health Services

Urogynecology & Female Pelvic Medicine

The Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center is staffed by health care professionals dedicated to improving the lives of women with pelvic floor disorders. These include such problems as:
  • Loss of bladder or bowel control
  • Problems passing urine
  • Prolapse (dropped bladders, fallen wombs )
  • Difficulty defecating
These complex disorders require comprehensive consultation and possible ancillary testing prior to implementation of a team oriented management plan. Our professionals offer conservative as well as surgical options which best fit the needs of the individual patient. A consultation to our service regarding these issues can easily be arranged with a consultation from your primary care provider.  Our Urogyn nurse can be reached at (808) 433-2921.
