Cardiac Catheterization Lab
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Tripler Army Medical Center performs state-of-the-art invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to address a wide range of cardiac conditions. Our lab is staffed by a team of professionals to quickly respond to any emergencies that may occur. We work closely with Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology.
Hours of Operations
24/7 or
Monday thru Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
Training Holidays: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Federal Holidays: Closed
How to make an appointments:
Patients do not make appointments. A Physician will place a consult for the patient. A Cardiology Nurse will contact the patient to schedule a procedure.
FAQ's:
Q: After my procedure involving sedation, can I take public transportation home or a taxi instead of having someone pick me up?
A: No, your MUST have an escort pick you up from the hospital at discharge. If you do not have an escort arranged the day of your procedure, you will be rescheduled for a later date.
Q: I was told not to eat or drink anything the morning of my procedure, can I still take my medications?
A: Yes you can take your usual daily medication unless instructed otherwise by your physician or the nurse scheduling your procedure. Take your pill with a small amount of water only. If you have questions regarding specific medications ask your provider before the day of the procedure.
