FAQ's:

Q: When can I start eating after surgery?
A: It depends on the surgery, most procedures patients can start consuming clear liquids right away, as tolerated.

Q: What phase of recovery care is PACU?
A: PACU is phase I.
 
Q: When can I see my family?
A: Family members are welcome in Phase II of recovery, usually this will be performed in 6C1.
 
Q: How long do I have to stay in PACU?
A: The minimum stay must be 30 mins and the patient will stay until pain is tolerable and vital signs are stable.
 
Q: How did my surgery go?
A: Your surgeon will be happy to come see you and talk to you, they will usually come see you at phase II of recovery once the patient is less sleepy.
