Visiting Tripler
Tripler Army Medical Center is located in Honolulu on Moanalua Ridge. It is located just off H-201, or the Moanalua Freeway.
Directions
If you are using GPS software or an online map service, Tripler's address is: 1 Jarrett White Road, Honolulu, HI 96859.
From Honolulu: Take H-1 West towards Waianae. Follow signs and take a slight left at H-201 West towards Aiea. Follow signs for Tripler Army Medical Center (Exit sign says Puuloa Rd./Tripler Hosp.).
From Central Oahu or the North Shore: Take HI-99/Kamehameha Highway towards Honolulu. Merge onto H-2 South. Merge onto H-1 East towards Honolulu. Take exit 13B to merge onto H-201 East. Follow signs for Tripler Army Medical Center (Exit sign says Puuloa Rd./Tripler Hosp.).
From the Windward Coast: Take H-3 West towards Pearl Harbor. Take exit 1B to merge onto HI-78 East/H-201 East towards Honolulu. Follow signs for Tripler Army Medical Center (Exit sign says Puuloa Rd./Tripler Hosp.).
From the Leeward Coast: Take H-1 East towards Honolulu. Take exit 13B to merge onto H-201 East. Follow signs for Tripler Army Medical Center (Exit sign says Puuloa Rd./Tripler Hosp.).
Parking
The Mountainside patient parking lots are street level around Mountainside entrance. Oceanside patient parking lots are street level around the flagpole. Additional parking areas for patients, visitors and staff are located below Tripler itself and in the parking structure across the mountainside VA Medical Center on Patterson Road.
Tripler Trolley
The Tripler Trolley offers free transportation from various location throughout the Tripler Area, available Monday-Friday from 6:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. To utilize this service, passengers should call 808-433-1200.
Please inform the dispatcher if you require wheelchair assistance. Riders must wait at the designated trolley stops, as pick-up and drop-off are only permitted at these locations.

Gate Access Procedures for Visitors
All visitors must have a visitor pass. Visitor passes can be obtained at the Visitor Control Center (VCC) just after the Tripler Army Medical Center gate on the right during operational hours. During non-operational hours all visitor passes can be obtained from the Fort Shafter VCC. In order to obtain a visitor pass, drivers must possess a valid license, vehicle safety inspection, registration and proof of no-fault insurance.

Bus Service
Public bus service runs at 10 minutes after the hour until 10 p.m., seven days a week, at the cost of $2.50 (exact fare required). Bus stops are located outside the E, D, and G-Wings.
