In the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare, few stories resonate with the promise of innovation and dedication quite like that of U.S. Army Capt. Bradley Pierce. A General Surgery resident at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Pierce has recently been recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Healthcare list for his groundbreaking development of a life support system aimed at enhancing patient survival rates following traumatic abdominal hemorrhage. This pioneering system holds significant potential for application in emergency rooms and rural treatment facilities, demonstrating how military medicine can lead the way in healthcare innovation.

Soldiers Bring Holiday Cheer to Children at Tripler Army Medical Center Through Toy Donations

The Medical Readiness Battalion, Hawaii (MRB-H) brought holiday cheer to children at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) by donating toys on Dec. 12, 2025. Approximately 40 to 50 Soldiers participated in a toy drive, including road guards, drivers, and medics, who collectively donated an estimated 300 toys.

Tripler Army Medical Center notifies patients of potential medical provider misconduct

Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) leadership is in the process of notifying patients who were seen by a former resident in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service between June 2019 and June 2023 that their provider is the subject of a criminal investigation by the Army Criminal Investigations Division. Patients will be provided with resources to learn about the investigation, file concerns, get answers to questions, and arrange medical care and other support.

Tripler showcases military medical capabilities to India delegation

Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) welcomed a delegation of senior medical leaders from India on Sept. 18, 2025. The delegation included TAMC Commander, Col. William Bimson, U.S. Army; U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Surgeon Capt. Peter Roberts, U.S. Navy; and Surgeon Vice Adm. Arti Sarin, Indian Navy; along with other staff members.
