Tripler Army Medical Center  –   Col. Thurman Saunders, Tripler Army Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer, presents 1st Lt. Catherine Quinn, General Surgery Clinic registered nurse, the Daisy Award during a ceremony July 28, 2022. The DAISY Award is an opportunity to honor and celebrate the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. J. Patrick Barnes died from complications of his auto-immune disease in 1999 at age 33. His family founded The DAISY Foundation in his honor.
