Tripler Army Medical Center Soldiers win the 2024 MRC-P BLC competition

Fourty-two Soldiers from Tripler Army Medical Center, Desmond T. Doss Health Clinic, Madigan Army Medical Center, Public Health Command Pacific, Dental Health Command Pacific, U.S. Army MEDDAC Alaska, U.S. Army MEDDAC Japan, and Brian D. Aligood Army Community Hospital Korea competed in the Best Leader Competition Apr. 1-4 at TAMC, Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Air Field, and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. During the four-day event, competitors tackled the Army Combat Fitness Test, Ruck March, Obstacle Course, Combat Water Survival Training, Land Navigation, Stress Shoot, Warrior Task & Battle Drills, Compatives, and a mystery event, which consisted of a medical lane.

Congratulations to Capt. Jesse Guerin, Sgt. 1st Class Alexander Haynes, Sgt. Logan Fortney, Spc. Carlee Goodman, Spc. Nazarly Kurpita, and Spc Lyghon Leslie for winning this year’s Medical Readiness Command, Pacific Best Leader Competition. The TAMC team will move on to compete at the MEDCOM BLC at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in June.
