Q: Tell us about yourself?
I am 20 years old, and I have been a certified pharmacy technician with the U.S. Army for two years now.
Q: What inspired you to work in pharmacy?
I found myself in this position due to my interest in healthcare and chemistry. Working in a pharmacy has provided me insight into these job fields that I otherwise could’ve missed out on.
Q: What are some reasons you enjoy being a pharmacy technician at Tripler?
The biggest appeal of a pharmacy technician work to me is being able to serve the veteran and active duty communities by getting them access to the treatment and care they need.
Q. What advice would you give to a student interested in becoming a pharmacy technician?
It provides me the opportunity to see patients, treat them for any condition under the sun to assist in their recovery.
Q. How do you inspire future pharmacy technicians?
The best thing for you and your patients is to have a good attitude and keeping a professional demeanor – our patients deserve us to be understanding, dedicated, and ready to provide the care they need.
