Graduate Medical Education Medical Student Informational Handbook

 Directions 

• For directions, entrance, and parking for Tripler, visit the Driving Directions page at https://tripler.tricare.mil/Getting-Care/Driving-Directions.
• All students must have a valid ID (military, state, or driver's license), car insurance, registration, or rental vehicle agreement.
• All students will park in the areas marked P/E (Patient/Employee Parking).  Students should not be parking in other area on Hospital grounds.

• ​Ocean-Side Entrance.
  • If entering from ocean side entrance you will see a customer service desk as you enter.
  • From the customer service desk continue to follow the hallway and go through the intersecting hallway.
  • When you get to the end of the hallway turn left or right and take an elevator and proceed to the 9th floor.
  • Upon exiting the elevator, veer left or right into the hallway.
  • Walk down the hallway to the first door on your right and enter and have a seat.
• Mountain-Side Entrance.
  • If entering from the mountain side entrance you will see a customer service desk as you enter.
  • From the customer service desk veer left and walk about 30 feet and turn right into the hallway.
  • Follow the hallway to the end and turn right. After your turn right veer to the left and go down the stairs.
  • At the bottom of the stair turn left and follow the hallway until you come to four elevators. Enter an elevator and proceed to the 9th floor.
  • Upon exiting the elevator, veer left or right into the hallway.
  • Walk down the hallway to the first door on your right and enter and have a seat.

• Ocean-Side Entrance.
  • If entering from ocean side entrance, you will see a customer service desk as you enter.
  • From the customer service desk continue to follow the hallway and go through the intersecting hallway.

  • Upon exiting the elevator, make a U-turn and proceed along the short hallway until the end and turn right. 
  • Walk about five feet and turn left.
  • The Graduate Medical Education Office is straight ahead.

  • If entering from the mountain side entrance, you will see a customer service desk as you enter.
  • From the customer service desk veer left and walk about 30 feet and turn right into the hallway.
  • Follow the hallway to the end and turn right. After your turn right veer to the left and go down the stairs.
