Pediatric Staffing

• Accept 8 residents per year for 24 total residents over three year program
• Staffed by over 40 military and civilian faculty across the full spectrum of pediatric care
• Over 100 nursing and ancillary service personnel
• Active teaching and clinical support from other pediatric specialists, to include orthopedics, surgery, urology, otolaryngology, anesthesiology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, and dental
• Interdisciplinary training with Transitional Year, Family Medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Programs

Pediatric Workload

• Annual inpatient admissions:
  • >1000 on inpatient ward
  • >300 on PICU
  • >400 on NICU
• 250-300 live births per month
• Support for over 700 sedations annually
• Over 55,000 annual outpatient visits across General Pediatrics, Adolescent, and Subspecialty
