Resident Rotations
PGY-1 Year = 13 rotations of 4 weeks each
- 1 month of ward days, 1 month of ward nights
- 1 month of wards at Kap’iolani Women and Children’s Hospital (civilian facility)
- 1 month of Newborn Nursery
- 1 month of NICU
- 2 months of General Pediatric Clinic
- 1 month of combined Clinic with Community Pediatric experiences
- 1 month of Emergency Medicine at the TAMC ER
- 1 month of Sedation training combined with Adolescent Medicine
- 1 month of Developmental + Adolescent Medicine
- 2 months of electives
PGY-2 Year = 12 rotations
- 1 month of ward
- 1 month of PICU at Kap’iolani
- 1 month of NICU
- 1 month of Newborn/NICU nights
- 1 month of a Senior/Supervisory Inpatient rotation
- 1 month of General Pediatric Clinic
- 1 month of Adolescent Medicine Clinic
- 1 month of Developmental Pediatric Clinic
- 1 month of Community Pediatrics
- 3 months of electives
PGY-3 Year = 12 rotations
- 1 month of ward nights
- 1 month of PICU
- 2 months of Senior/Supervisory Inpatient rotations
- 2 months of General Pediatric Clinic
- 1 month of Emergency Medicine at Kap’iolani
- 4 months of electives
- Final month spent in Transition to Practice Rotation

Residents may choose to repeat any of the above rotations in addition to:
