Medical Students

Rotations are highly encouraged for anyone interested in pursuing a career in urology or for those who wish to get a solid overview about the specialty. What better place than in Hawaii? Students may elect to spend two to four weeks on rotation. They are assigned ward, clinic and operating room duties, guaranteed to provide a wealth of experience, education, and fun. Inquisitive students add an important part to the academic program by stimulating discussion about various topics.

They will also have the opportunity to give a short presentation at the conclusion of their rotation. For students interested in the residency, rotations early in the academic year provide the best opportunity for evaluation prior to the September application deadline.
